Manning's Irish Pub
Wisconsin has a bar culture akin to Irish pubs, where the sense of community is as much if not more important than the drinks. What initially started as some new apparel for Manning's eventually turned into new logos and branding for the bar. I wanted to avoid the cliche "Irish pub" aesthetic of shamrocks and kelly green. I drew inspiration from some of the hand painted signs of traditional Irish pubs and the design work of Louise Fili. Celtic line patterns and a unity knot were used to symbolize that sense of community Manning's has. The bar was pleased with the outcome so much so, that they adopted the look throughout the bar. Glassware, wall paint colors, table tents, and menus were adapted to the new branding.
